Argonon art shows attract Japan, Korea

South Korean and Japanese firms have bought Argonon’s classical and contemporary ballet-themed programming via distributor Bomanbridge Media.

South Korea’s LGU+ has bought VOD rights to Swan Lake (pictured), Sleeping Beauty, Imagine: A Beauty is Born – Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty and The World Of Matthew Bourne (aka Matthew Bourne’s Christmas).

Japanese film production and satellite channels group Tohokushinsha acquired Darcey’s Ballerina Heroines, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Imagine: A Beauty Is Born – Matthew  Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty, and The World Of Matthew Bourne.

UK-based Argonon sells the shows internationally through its Argonon International arm, but sub-licenses sales rights in Asia to Singapore-based Bomanbridge.
