Ex-All3 America boss launches indie

Formats-logo-460_2Former Studio Lambert USA and All3Media America president Eli Holzman has launched his own production company.

Eli HolzmanHolzman (pictured) will lead The Intellectual Property Corporation with long-time producing partner Aaron Saidman.

A pair of bosses featured on All3 format Undercover Boss in the US, property restoration magnate Sheldon Yellen and e-commerce expert Michael Rubin are funding the company along with student housing investor Campus Apartments’ David Adelman.

IPC will be based in Culver City, California, and focus on producing unscripted formats and series, limited series, documentaries, and feature films and scripted series based on its unscripted library. There is also a pot of cash designated for mobile content, and all projects will be targeted at the US and international markets.

Holzman left his post at All3 America in September, and was replaced by ICM Partners co-founder Greg Lipstone, who became the firm’s first designed CEO in the US.

“There has never been a more exciting time to be a content creator,” said Holzman of his new venture. “There are more buyers than ever before, more ways to reach the audience, and an almost limitless array of options to finance quality intellectual property.”

IPC has projects in development with Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson, Peter Berg, and basketball star Shaquille O’Neal, and has two series ordered, though further details were not provided beyond one being a premium doc series and the other a format.

Former Endemol Shine North America executive Rachel Dax is IPC’s head of production, ex-All3 America exec Andy Olymbiou is head of finance, Matt Zien is overseeing development as director, and Steve Erdman is coordinator of development.

Holzman and Saidman first worked together while at Miramax Films, and later worked together on season on of CBS hit Undercover Boss. They came together again last year on the 2014 documentary The Seven Five.
