ABS-CBN gets new CEO

The Philippines’ ABS-CBN Corporation is getting a new president and CEO to replace the retiring Charo Santos-Concio.

Carlo L. Katigbak will take up the new post in January at the commercial broadcaster, with Santos-Concio retiring at the end of this month.

However, Santos-Concio will remain as chief content officer, president of ABS-CBN University and executive advisor to chairman Eugenio Lopez III.

Katigbak has been COO of ABS-CBN since March, and was previously head of access. He has previously worked in senior roles at Sky.
