Pivot explores 1000 Days for the Planet

American cable channel Pivot Network has acquired all three seasons of natural history series 1000 Days for the Planet.

Pivot did the deal with Cineflix Rights, the UK-based distributor, with the latter’s Lucinda Gergley-Garner, senior VP, Germany and North America and Canadian acquisitions brokering the agreement.

1000 Days for the Planet comes from Glacialis Productions, and follows scientist and UN Ambassador for the Environment Jean Lemire to explore diversity of life on the planet and the balance of the ecosystem.

“The show explores topical issues around climate change and reveals the extraordinary beauty of the world, helping viewers to think about the challenges that we all face,” said Chris Bonney, CEO, rights, Cineflix Media.
