Tellur Aliens to make a Splash in Cannes

Kids distributor Splash Entertainment has picked up sales rights to animated series Tellur Aliens ahead of MIPJunior and MIPCOM.

Splash will launch the animated one-off at the market. The animated family film hails from Kazakhstan-based Frame One Animation.

Set in a mysterious universe, the film follows three friends attempting to save their planet Telluria and defeat the evil Lord Singulord.

“Tellur Aliens was developed with the participation of children psychologists and pediatricians and it takes into consideration all aspects of children’s physical and mental development,” said Mevelyn Noriega, president of distribution for Splash.

She added: “The film is targeted for children aged 6-11 and we are honoured to be offering this wonderful title to our international buyers around the world.”
