Spanish deal for Geronimo Stilton

Atlantyca has inked a deal with TVE for the first two series of its animated series Geronimo Stilton.

The Spanish pubcaster has taken 78x22mins of the show and has prebought the upcoming third season, The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton. The show already plays on TV3 in Spain.

“This is a significant deal for us as Geronimo Stilton has a huge loyal book fan base throughout Spain,” said Pedro Citaristi, sales manager, Atlantyca Entertainment.

TVE will put the series out on its Clan TVE channel and TV3 on Super 3.

The series has previously been licensed to broadcasters including Italy’s Rai, France Télévision, Germany’s KIKA and Channel 1 in Russia.
