Scripps UK & EMEA begins Restaurant Takeover

Scripps Networks UK & EMEA has acquired the 26x60mins eating house makeover series Restaurant Takeover from Canada-based distributor Tricon Film & Television.

The Scripps Networks International-owned channel group has also acquired Off the Map with Shannen & Holly and Extreme Collectors, while Globosat in Brazil bought The Expandables, A Bryk at a Time and Custom Build.

Tricon compatriot Gusto TV has acquired Cook Eat China, while Li TV took Spice Goddess in a pan-Asian deal.
