Turtles, Dora spread in Lat Am, Europe

Viacom International Media Networks properties Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora the Explorer: Into the City have sold to broadcasters around the world.

Turtles seasons one and two have gone to China’s TianJinShi Team Shine Culture Communication Co. and will launch on Kaku Kids for Beijing Television and Jiajia Cartoon Channel with Guangdong Jia Jia Cartoon Film Co.

European free TV broadcasters TVE in Spain, France Télévisions and DeAgostini in Italy have acquired season three.

Dora’s latest incarnation has gone to Señal Colombia and Ecuavisa in Ecuador, with the latter also taking 85-and-a-half hours of the original series.

Turner Broadcasting System will also launch Dora on Cartoonito this autumn, with Ukraine’s Plus Plus doing the same.
