New brief: New Asian Boomerang launch

Turner Broadcasting System’s animation network Boomerang has launched in Malaysia on HyppTV with a two-month free trial.

The pay TV channel will be available for nothing to HyppTV from August 1 until October 1 as part of HyppTV’s Jumbo Pack subscription. At this point an extra charge will be levied.

The network will be available in both English and Bahasa Malaysian, aiming at kids aged 4-9 and their families.

Boomerange repositioned as an all-animation network in October last year.
