NBC Universo calls for Law & Order

Cable channel NBC Universo will debut American procedural Law & Order for Spanish-speaking US audiences for the first time.

Law & Order and sister series Law & Order: Los Angeles after a deal with the domestic distribution arm of parent NBCUniversal.

Dick Wolf-created Law & Order, which ran for 20 season between 1990 and 2010, debuts with back-to-back episodes on Monday, July 6 at 5pm. It will air daily Monday through Thursday thereafter, while Law & Order: Los Angeles will air weekly on Tuesdays at 9pm, starting July 7.

NBC Universo subs will also be able to access episodes online via video-on-demand services, nbcuniverso.com/now and the NBC Universo app.

NBC Universo rebranded from mun2 in November last year.
