Flame hires digital rights exec

Chris HampsonFlame Media has recruited Chris Hampson as digital rights manager.

Hampson joins the Australia-based factual producer and distributor next week and will be based in London. He will be seeking digital deals for new and catalogue titles from the Flame catalogue.

Hampson joins from Pilot Films & TV where he oversaw North American sales. Prior to that he was at Warner Vision and Sony Music.

Fiona Gilroy, content sales and acquisitions director at Flame, said: “It will be great to have [Chris’s] expertise and focus on digital rights which are growing apace in so many territories. It will also ensure that our entire catalogue is being effectively exploited in the online space and maximising the return for our producers.”

Hampson added: “I’m delighted to be part of their drive to maximise [Flame’s] returns across a continually developing digital landscape.”
