FremantleMedia promotes Canuck sales exec

The international arm of entertainment giant FremantleMedia has promoted Michela di Mondo to VP, sales and distribution in Canada.

The exec has been handed the newly-created post after joining FremantleMedia International as it launched in Canada last year.

She will report to FMI’s senior VP, distribution and sales, Canada, Susan Hummel, who established the firm’s Toronto-based sales office in February.

Hummel and di Mondo are both former MGM executives, though the latter came to American Idol distributor FMI from Media Group International, where she was executive director.
