Fox orders Relativity’s Home Free

US broadcast net Fox has ordered a new home renovation competition series Home Free and Electus will sell it internationally.

Tom-Forman-RelativityRelativity Television is making the series and its CEO, Tom Forman (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), will exec produce.

In the series, which will debut in late July on Fox, nine couples compete to restore a house and all live together in that house throughout the process. One pair is eliminated per week before the final two couples compete to win a dream home.

Professional contractor Mike Holmes (Holmes on Homes) will host.

Electus will be shopping the finished show and the format internationally.

Separately, Electus has sold a package of its shows to SIC. The Portuguese commercial broadcaster has acquired Mob Wives and its spin-off Mob Wives Chicago, three seasons of Dating Naked, three seasons of Fashion Star and the Bellator MMA fighting championship.
