Comedy Central Africa will Deal With it

Comedy Central Africa has acquired celebrity prank show Deal With it from Israeli distributor Keshet International.

The deal for seasons one and two of the US comedy means Viacom International Media Networks-owned Comedy Central will run in more than 50 sub-Saharan African territories.

The UK version of Comedy Central already airs the show, which debuted in the US on Time Warner-owned TBS.

Mediacorp Singapore’s Channel 5, Multishow in Brazil and CMT in Canada have also acquired the show, in which celebrities and comedians covertly feed absurd tasks and lines to contestants, for them to perform in public spaces.
