Global Agency is launching a nerve-jangling quiz show format in Cannes.
The Turkish distributor is debuting The Big Steal, a strategic-style quiz in which contestants can build their winnings by answers more and more questions.
Each round, one contestant is eliminated, with the money won in round one available to the others to ‘steal’ in the second. A final round determines which player keeps the ‘stolen’ cash.
The format comes from Andre Sousa and Anti Reinthal.
“The Big Steal has all the ingredients to be a successful format and being launched at MIPTV will definitely give it the visibility it needs,” said Sousa.
An option deal has already been agreed in Italy.
