MTV takes unscripted pilots to series

MTV has greenlit a pair of pilots, Girl Code Live and Greatest Party Story Ever, for full season runs.

Girl Code will be a live 10x30mins weekly talk show based on the popular Code franchise, while Greatest Party Show will be a half-hour series that showcases outrageous stories and also runs to 10 parts.

Ryan Ling is executive producing Girl Code with MTV execs Paul Ricci and Karen Frank, while Four Peaks Media Group (fka Buried Life Entertainment) will produce Greatest Party Story, with ShadowMachine produced animated segments.

This came as MTV also commissioned a third season of dating format Are You the One and season 27 of The Challenge.
