icflix bags Lilyhammer

Middle East and North Africa VOD service icflix has acquired rights to Norway-set crime comedy-drama Lilyhammer.

The deal for the Netflix-commissioned mobster show with Red Arrow International covers 23 territories.

“Lilyhammer is an exceptional series with international appeal and we are positive that our members across MENA will enjoy it as much as fans globally have till now,” said icflix CEO and founder Carlos Tibi.

“Viewers in Middle East and North Africa are huge drama fans and icflix is known for high-end programmes featuring A-list stars. So no doubt, Lilyhammer will be in good hands,” added Red Arrow International’s junior sales manager, MENA, Yi Qiao.
