Looking Glass sells Leopard, Panda docs

Australian factual distributor Looking Glass International has shopped docs to several international buyers.

Swedish pubcaster SVT has picked up wildlife one-off The Unlikely Leopard, which was originally produced by Wildlife Films Botswana for the National Geographic Channel. Spanish pubcaster TVE has also acquired the film.

SVT also acquired Essential Media-produced one-off doc Connected – How Kevin Bacon Cured Cancer and Discovery Channel Asia doc The Long March Into Space.

French channel operator AB Groupe has acquired a package of travel and lifestyle programmes from LGI including panda doc Panda’s Wild Move, which follows efforts to get Chinese pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia to mate.
