News brief: Pablo Escobar moves to the Netherlands

RTL has acquired Pablo Escobar, The Drug Lord for its RTL Crime channel in the Netherlands.

The drama series, telling the life story of the feared drug lord, is produced by Colombian broadcaster Caracol and distributed by its sales arm, Caracol TV Internacional, which struck the RTL deal.

The series debuted on RTL Crime this week.
