Trio of Scandi format deals for ITV Studios

The Nordic division of ITV Studios has sealed three format deals with broadcasters in the region.

In Finland, YLE has ordered a local version of The Big Reunion that will run to eight parts and a 90-minute special. The show reunites former pop bands and puts them into training before they go back on stage to give a live performance.

Commercial Danish broadcaster TV2 has commissioned Keeping Denmark Alive. The Danish show will stretch to eight episodes and provide a behind-the-scenes snapshot of 24-hours in the nation’s healthcare system. Separately, the format has been renewed by Norway’s TV Norge.

In Norway, public broadcaster NRK has commissioned a local version of hidden-camera series Tricked. The 8x30mins show is fronted by a mystery magician who trick unsuspecting members of the public.

The deals mark the first international sales for The Big Reunion and Tricked. The Keeping The Nation Alive format has now been sold into five territories.
