NBCU launches Esquire Network TV Everywhere app

Esquire_GrabNBCUniversal’s male-skewed US cable channel Esquire Network has launched a TV Everywhere app that allows users to view live programming.

Esquire TV NOW will allow users to stream content through a dedicated app and via a esquiretv.com/NOW portal.

This comes as NBCU pushes ahead with its TV Everywhere strategy, which aims to allow users to access live programming on any device and at any time.

“We know that Esquire Network’s audience are early adopters who consume entertainment content as one element of their active lifestyle,” said Esquire Network president Adam Stotsky.

“It only makes sense for us to make it as easy and convenient as possible for our viewers to access and share our original programs whenever or wherever they want to view them.”

Esquire Network launched in September 2013, replacing Style Network following a last minute decision to keep gaming channel G4 on air. Esquire is a joint-venture between NBCU and Hearst Magazines, which publishes the Esquire men’s monthly magazine.
