News brief: Fargo goes to SoHo

New Zealand premium drama channel SoHo has acquired the upcoming TV remake of feature film Fargo.

The ten-part crime drama, which MGM Television and FX Productions are creating for FX in the US and for which MGM is global distributor, will launch in New Zealand in May.

Fargo is an original adaptation to the Coen Brothers movie from the 1990s and features a new story with a new case and characters.
