News brief: Portugal’s RTP in for Armoza primetime format

Portuguese broadcaster RTP has commissioned a local version of Armoza Formats’ primetime show I Can Do That!.

RTP has produced the series in association with Endemol Portugal and the remake will launch this Saturday under the title of Desafio Total.

TV presenter Sílvia Alberto and comic Marco Horacio will host the series, in which celebrities are each week challenged to perform different talents.

Israel’s Armoza has sold the format into 15 territories after launching it at MIPCOM last year. Rai in Italy, Mediaset in Spain and Rede Record in Brazil are among the channels getting their own versions.
