Imagina launching Russian Boat, Czech Manor House

The-Manor-HouseSpanish distributor Imagina International is launching scripted format The Boat and Czech drama The Manor House (pictured) at the upcoming NATPE programming market.

It distributes the original, Spanish, versions of The Boat and is now launching the Russian-language version, which went out on free-to-air channel CTC in Russia.

The Manor House is a Czech murder-mystery period drama set in 1920s Prague that bows on pubcaster CT this week.

Imagina’s NATPE slate of new dramas for the international market also includes Spanish-language drama Lolita Caberet (Bienvenidos al Lolita).

The Globomedia-produced scripted series has just debuted in Spanish free-to-air channel Antena 3’s primetime, winning 3.5 million viewers. It follows a group of artists working on a failing cabaret show as they try to recover the glory days.

Imagina will be in Miami with another Antena 3 show, upcoming period miniseries In the Heart of the Ocean (El Corazón del Océano).

The distributor will also start preselling B&B Magazine (B&B de boca en boca), the upcoming drama for Telecinco about a group of journalists trying to keep their magazine afloat.

The Lighthouse (El Faro) rounds out the slate of new drama. The daily series is produced by Atlántida Media for regional Spanish broadcaster Forta, which strips it daily.
