Brazil’s Record TV gets Special Delivery

Brazilian broadcaster Record TV has commissioned a local version of Israeli ‘ambush’ gameshow Special Delivery.

Record will become the second Latin American territory to remake the Armoza Formats-distributed title following Uruguay’s Saeta TV Canal 10.

The Lotus Productions is billed as a “TV series delivered alongside an order of pizza”. Contestants are given the option of taking their original order or taking part in a gameshow in which they have to answer 12 questions in eight minutes. To move on, they must answer correctly or eat a ‘pizza from hell’.

Record will broadcast its version early next year, with production already underway. The Brazilian channel and Israel-based Armoza have been close partners in recent times with Record also commissioning remakes of I Can Do That! and Back to the Date.
