RTL-CBS entertainment channel to launch in Philippines

Philippines-based SKY Cable Corporation is the latest Asian platform to add the new CBS RTL Entertainment channel to its offering.

The HD channel is now available à la carte and as part of the SKYcable Silver, Gold, Dual Def499 and TitaniumHD40 packages.

RTL and CBS’s joint venture channel is now in four Asian markets, having already launched in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The channel’s line up includes The X Factor USA, America’s Got Talent, Elementary and Under the Dome.

“RTL CBS Entertainment HD has received an extremely enthusiastic reception from all operators across the region and initial audience feedback has been very encouraging,” said Jonas Engwall, CEO, RTL CBS Asia Entertainment Network.
