Your Face gets more familiar with CEE

Romania-Your-Face-Sounds-Familiar-Series-1-Copyright-Free-(15) New format deals for celebrity singing format Your Face Sounds Familiar is among a batch of agreements Endemol has closed in Central and Eastern Europe.

Your Face, which began life in Spain and has now sold into more than 30 territories, will launch on Czech Television’s CT1 and Slovak Television’s STV1 as a 12-part series. The deal represents the latest collaboration between Czech and Slovak broadcasters – a trend that had died out after changes to the CEE region in the 1990s but is now coming back in.

The series will launch next year.

Your Face is also getting a local run in Serbia, where Emotion Productions is to create a primetime version for Antenna-owned PRVA. The show launches this autumn. The format already runs in the CEE region in territories such as Romania (pictured).

In other deals, Endemol has also sold new reality series Grading Mom and Dad to Czech Television and ONT in Belarus. The Czech version will be 12 episodes and the Belarussian version will run for six.

The deals mark the first international format sales for Grading Mom and Dad, which is a Dutch series from Endemol Netherlands that Endemol launched to the global market at MIPTV in April.
