Chef at Your Door knocks for TVP

Polish broadcaster TVP has commissioned a local version of reality format Chef at Your Door.

The show, which is distributed by LA and London-based Small World IFT, will launch on Polish screens with a 10x45mins run next month known locally as Sąsiad na Widelcu.

Warsaw-based Rochstar is attached to produce the show, which will see host Łukasz Grass meeting families and challenging them to create masterpiece meals alongside a pair of celebrity chefs.

Rochstar CEO Rinke Rooyens said: “Chef at Your Door offers a highly cost effective production solution for local adaptation, whilst also offering broadcasters fantastic opportunities for brand integration. It’s a perfect fit for the family viewing demographic of TVP1 and we’re delighted to play a part in bringing this great new series to Poland’s screens.”

The format comes from Germany’s Tresor TV and a French version recently broadcast on Gulli and is being developed as a stripped series for access primetime slots.

Distributor Small World IFT last year signed a strategic agreement with Content Media Corp. that sees the latter’s management team work with Tim Crescenti’s formats house to build a global sales company.
