Disney launching Coppertop short form comedy

Disney Channel is today launching a short form comedy series, The Coppertop Flop Show, on its website.

The show goes live on DisneyChannel.com and will feature 1-2 minute videos presented by Calum Worthy, who appears in Disney Channel series Austin & Ally.

“Our audience loves short form video and this series with Calum, who is so talented and naturally funny, is a great fit for them,” said Lauren DeVillier, VP, digital media, Disney Channels Worldwide. “I think kids will really respond to his humour and unique point of view.”

Worthy’s longtime collaborators Derek Baynham and Kelly May are producing, alongside Corey Moss from Principato-Young Entertainment.
