Russian net gets Shipwrecked, lines up Lyrics

ShipwreckedRussian channel NTV has commissioned local versions of Zodiak Media-owned formats Shipwrecked and Don’t forget the Lyrics.

Mastiff, the Zodiak Vostok-owned Russian producer, will produce the shows, which are expected to broadcast later this year.

Shipwrecked will be a 13x90mins series. The reality competition format features young people living on a seemingly idyllic island and ran for eight seasons on UK terrestrial Channel 4 between 2000 and 2011.

Don’t Forget the Lyrics will be a 19x60mins series and is based on the Zodiak USA show for Fox that has already been picked up as a format in 23 territories.
