News brief: H2 calls on Thing-a-ma-bob

US cable channel H2 has ordered a 10-part series from T Group Productions and 1^st Avenue Machine called Thing-a-ma-bob.

Each episode will see an eccentric creator use three seemingly random objects to create a practical but over-the-top item. Executive producers include Jenny Daly, Bill Rademaker, Andrew Geller, Sam Penfield, Arvind Palep and Serge Patzak.
