News brief: TV Land’s relationship with Exes extends

US cable channel TV Land has extended its original sitcom The Exes by another 10 episodes.

Season three of the show, which follows a trio of divorced roommates forced to live together by their female divorce attorney landlord, is rating 9% above the prior season average, prompting Viacom-owned TV Land to add more episodes.

The Mark Reisman Productions, Acme Productions and TV Land Original Productions-produced series launch on US cable in November 2011.
