News brief: Junior Vets get more training at CBBC

Factual entertainment series Junior Vets has been given a second season on UK children’s digital channel CBBC.

The series’ first run went out in January and CBBC has now given it a new 10x60mins series, which will film at the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland, this summer. It sees six young vets go up against each other in a bid to be named head vet.

UK indie True North returns to produce, with the company’s creative director Jess Fowle executive producing alongside CBBC’s Kez Margrie.
