WWE programming to launch in Myanmar

Weekly WWE wrestling programming will launch in Myanmar this month.

WWE has closed a deal with Myanmar’s SkyNet DTH platform to provide WWE programmes such as Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, WWE Main Event and WWE NXT over the next three years.

The shows will air on the SkyNet Sports 3 and SkyNet Teen channels.

“Joining WWE to bring their world-class entertainment to the people of Myanmar is a significant addition to our expanding portfolio,” said Win Naing, executive general manager, SkyNet TV. “We look forward to an ongoing partnership with WWE as we help to continue awareness and viewership of this global brand in South East Asia.
