DHX’s CPLG appoints Iberia boss

Pau Pascual has been appointed general manager, Iberia, at licensing business Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG).

The company is owned by Canada’s DHX and owns licensing and merchandising rights to a range of brands and IP including The Simpsons and Sesame Street.

Pascual’s role is a new one within the company. He has been with CPLG since 2010 as marketing, sales and retail director. Prior to that he worked for the merchandising arm of Spanish football club Barcelona.

He will be based in Barcelona and report to CEO Peter Byrne who joined from Hit Entertainment earlier this year.
