Discovery taps into October Films’ Dark Desires

Discovery has ordered stalker series Obsession: Dark Desires.

The ten-part drama doc series will be produced by UK indie October Films. It follows stories of people who have been the victims of stalkers.

The show was commissioned by Jane Latman, senior VP of development for Investigation Discovery, which is Discovery’s fastest-growing network in the US and is being rolled out internationally.

She said: “Stalking is such an important issue and October Films will expertly profile the courage and tenacity of the victims to give viewers a visceral portrayal of survivors’ harrowing experiences.”

Cineflix Rights will handle international sales having recently inked a deal with October Films.
