JimJam buys Your Family’s Heroes of the City

Kids network JimJam has picked up animated series Heroes of the City from German distributor Your Family Entertainment.

The 26-part show will debut on the Chello Zone-owned preschool channel later this month.

The 3D series, which was produced by Swedish production company Ruta Ett, follows various emergency and rescue vehicles as they help people and chase baddies.

The show is aimed at children aged three to seven, and made by Swedish production company Ruta Ett.

It will go out on JimJam channels in 60 territories.

“The series sits perfectly alongside our varied and much-loved content such as Thomas & Friends, My Animal Family and Bob The Builder,” said Kathy Fairbairn, director of programming for JimJam. “We have a long standing relationship with Your Family Entertainment and are excited to see the reaction to this new series.”
