MIPTV News: Geronimo Stilton finds Portuguese broadcast home

Portugal’s Canal Panda has acquired European toon Geronimo Stilton from Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop ahead of MIPTV.

The Portuguese channel has acquired seasons one, two and three, the latter of which is currently in production. Turkey’s TV D-Smart has also bought season two.

The show is a coproduction between Italy’s Atlantyca and Moonscoop, which has bases in France and the US. It original launched on Italian net Rai 2 is 2009 and is currently broadcast in more than 100 territories, according to the producers.
