Global nets bag Canadian kids science series

Broadcasters in Germany, Canada and Sweden are onboard a new kids’ science and technology series from Sinking Ship Entertainment and TVOKids.

The 26x30mins live action/animation series Annedroids follows a genius child scientist and her friends who perform experiments in her junkyard laboratory.

Distributor Picture Box Distribution has brokered a coproduction deal with German children’s channel KiKA and pre-sales with SRC in French-speaking Canada and SVT in Sweden. Amazon Studios has taken an option in the US and the UK.

KiKA has previously worked with Sinking Ship on Dino Dan.Annedroids will begin shooting this year ready for delivery in 2014.
