Sparks launches Eccho Rights at MIPCOM

Eccho Rights, the new distribution arm of the Sparks Network, is heading to Cannes for the first time and has a raft of new formats.

The company, run by Fredrik af Malmborg, will be launching escape variety format Exit from NTV, Korean reality entertainment format My Way from KBS, 4Mat4’s Celebrity Express and Cover Me Canada, an entertainment format from CBC and 11Television.

“We are proud to present the first Mip listings for Eccho Rights, the new distribution arm of the Sparks/Eccho group,” says Malmborg. “Eccho Rights not only represents 30 leading independent producers and broadcasters that are part of the Sparks Entertainment and Fiction networks but a growing number of non-affiliated rights holders. We work closely with independent creators and represent them in a modern and transparent way from our offices in Stockholm and Hong Kong.”

The new company will also be launching returning dramas including Turkish series The End, Dangerous Beauty, Kuzey Guney and Ezel.
