Intn’l broadcasters take rights to Grammy Awards

A host of international broadcasters have bought TV rights to the upcoming Grammy Awards.

Alfred Haber is distributing the show internationally and has sold it into the UK, Germany, Latin America, Japan, Canada and Sweden.

The show, which airs on the CBS network in the US, takes place on February 13. The 3hrs 30 live show is, its producers say, the most popular TV music event in the world airing in 170+ countries.

Buyers of the 53rd edition of the show include ITV2 (UK), ProSieben (Germany), Turner Latin America, Televisa (Mexico), Wowow (Japan), Global (Canada) and Kanal 5 (Sweden).
