Fox Look hires sales execs, eyes cooking formats

Fox Look, the international formats arm of the US network, has made a number of senior exec appointments and is eyeing the acquisition of food formats.

The company, which is headed by president David Lyle, has poached Target Entertainment sales exec Glen Hansen to become head of sales and has also hired former Sony Pictures Television exec Stephen Wong to become senior VP, business development and operations.

Fox launched the division earlier this year to increase its footprint in the unscripted world; it will sell formats including Temptation Island and Beauty and the Geek and is also eyeing the acquisition of a range of new formats.

Lyle, who was previously president of the Fox Reality Channel, told TBIvision that it was looking to pick up a cooking format following the success of Shine International’s MasterChef, particularly in Australia, where one in four people watched the most recent season finale.
