Skywriter strikes distribution deal with Summerhill

Canadian producer and distributor Skywriter Media has struck a deal with local producer Summerhill Entertainment that will see it distribute its raft of programming internationally.

Skywriter Media, which was set up by former Breakthrough exec Kevin Gillis, struck the deal with Summerhill partners Ronald Lillie and William Johnston, which will also see the two companies join together on presales.

Summerhill’s catalogue includes factual entertainment series including 13x30mins Crash Addicts, which airs on Canada’s OLN and UKTV, Global’s crime documentary Pretty Dangerous, one off doc Zombiemania and 10x30mins comic book series Ink: Alter Egos Exposed!, which airs on Canada’s IFC and UK’s Sky Arts.
