Kabillion does 3 million

US kids video-on-demand service Kabillion has continued its strong growth, registering over 3 million VOD views through May and June.

The service, which launched in 2007, targets kids aged six-to-eleven reaches twenty million homes via Comcast and other MSOs and is also available online.

“Consistently reaching the threshold of 3 million monthly downloads is a great milestone for a start-up venture like ours, which does not have the benefit of being a spinoff from a major linear network,” said Kabillion CEO, Bill Schultz. “We’ve grown this channel in spite of tough economic times and a very cluttered kids’ landscape, through creativity and sheer determination.”

The service’s content line-up comprises Code Lyoko, G.I. Joe, Transformers, My Little Pony and others. It is a three-way joint venture between Moonscoop, Remix Entertainment and Studio 100.
