Wallace and Gromit join KidsCo for Xmas

Kids channel KidsCo has acquired a raft of movies that will form the centrepieces of its Christmas schedules. As well as picking up titles from DIC and Nelvana – both of which are shareholders in the business – KidsCo has picked up three Wallace and Gromit movies.

The features are produced by Aardman Animations and sold by BBC Worldwide.

KidsCo managing director Paul Robinson says: “The goal is to have a movie-heavy Christmas. It’s very important to have something that appeals to the whole family at that time.”

KidsCo has Jingle Bell Rock, In Search of Santa and Sonic Christmas Blast from DIC.

It has Santa Claus Brothers and A Cosmic Christmas from Nelvana.

It has also picked up a handful of other BBC Worldwide-distributed shows including the S Club 7 series, Five Children and It and Ace Lightning.
