ShineReveille inks int’l output deals

ShineReveille has inked a number of major output deals across Europe, the Middle East and New Zealand.

Its international distribution arm has struck deals with pan regional European broadcaster SBS Group, Middle East Broadcasting and New Zealand’s Sky Television.

The company, which was acquired by Elisabeth Murdoch’s Shine Group earlier this year, previously had an output deal with Australia’s Network Ten and has struck recent deals with Germany’s Tele Munchen and Canada’s CityTV for its MRC-produced content.

It is distributing a raft of unscripted and scripted shows including HBO’s animated comedy The Life and Times of Tim, NBC’s Shaftesbury-produced drama The Listener and reality hits such as VH1’s I Want To Work For Diddy and MTV’s Date My Mom. ShineReveille also distributes Media Rights Capital’s slate of shows that will debut on the CW later this year including Valentine and Easy Money.

The company has also inked a deal with producer Frappe to distribute its 13 part PBS travel series Spain… On The Road Again, which stars Gwyneth Paltrow as she travels through the country visiting restaurants and museums.
